Driver Terms
Version 2026-09-27.1 · Revised 2026-09-26
Effective upon acceptance
The platform is provided under the business name DropFolks. Business mailing address: 52 Clementine Dr, Brampton, ON L6Y 5R7, Canada. Contact info@dropfolks.ca for questions about these terms, privacy or account access.
1. Your application. These terms apply to the person identified in the driver account and application records. Give your legal name and accurate contact, vehicle and document details. Use your own account and keep your password private. Registration is not approval, an offer of employment, a guarantee of deliveries or a promise of earnings. Your legal work status is determined by applicable law and the actual arrangement, not simply a label in these terms.
2. Eligibility and verification. You must be 18 or older. The current Ontario car-delivery application accepts G2, G or another listed eligible class, not G1. Licence restrictions still apply. Maintain the legal entitlement, valid licence, suitable vehicle and insurance needed for the deliveries you undertake. Ask your insurer to confirm coverage for delivery use; do not assume a personal policy or DropFolks provides that coverage. Submit only documents you are authorised to provide. Uploading a document does not validate a licence, confirm coverage or perform a background check. Any external screening requires its own appropriate process and notice. Do not send identity documents or banking information by ordinary support email.
3. Review and continued access. Authorised staff review applications and may request corrections or further evidence. You may accept deliveries only while approved and eligible. Expired documents or safety concerns can pause access. Keep details current and contact support for renewals, corrections or a review of a decision. Any suspension or removal remains subject to applicable notice, explanation and other legal requirements; these terms do not waive them.
4. Safe deliveries. Review an offer before accepting. Collect the correct ready-packed order, confirm the order identifier, keep goods safe and follow delivery instructions. Never use the app while driving. If you cannot find the address, encounter unsafe conditions or cannot complete delivery, stop safely and contact support. Do not invent completion, location or handover records, abandon goods or assume a return has been approved. Use customer details only to fulfil the assigned delivery and resolve related issues.
5. Pay and activation. Driver remuneration, payout schedules, tips, permitted deductions and cancellation arrangements must be disclosed before paid work begins. Account approval does not establish these arrangements. Current simulated payments do not pay drivers and must not be treated as a paid delivery commitment. Nothing in these terms waives minimum pay, information, tips, notice, complaint or other mandatory worker rights. Where Ontario digital platform worker protections apply, applicable pay, assignment, platform access and dispute protections remain in force, including the right to resolve covered disputes in Ontario. These terms are not a substitute for assignment-specific and account-specific disclosures required by law.
6. Privacy and support. The Driver Privacy Notice describes document and delivery information handling. You can contact info@dropfolks.ca for assistance, correction requests, a decision review or account closure. Withdrawal may prevent further deliveries; coordinate any outstanding delivery safely with support. Required records may remain for lawful purposes. Website Terms also apply; no provision excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.
