Store Partner Terms
Version 2026-09-24.2 · Revised 2026-09-24
Effective upon acceptance
The platform is provided under the business name DropFolks. Business mailing address: 52 Clementine Dr, Brampton, ON L6Y 5R7, Canada. Contact info@dropfolks.ca for questions about these terms, privacy or account access.
Who these terms apply to. "Merchant" or "you" means the individual carrying on the store business as a sole proprietor, or the legal entity operating that business, identified in the store application and associated account records. "Store Owner" means the individual identified by their legal name in the owner account who submits the application and confirms ownership and authority to act for the Merchant. A trading or store name does not by itself identify a separate legal entity. If the business is operated by a company or other entity, its correct legal identity must be provided during verification. "DropFolks" refers to the platform operator identified at the beginning of these terms, not the Merchant.
The same terms apply to each Merchant without manually inserting a different name into this document. Your account and application records identify the applicant and store. Acceptance is recorded against the account and the applicable document version. Providing a name or accepting these terms does not itself verify identity, ownership or authority.
1. Owner registration and verification. Only the store owner may establish its owner account. Provide your legal name, reliable contact information, store name, pickup address and accurate evidence of ownership or authority when requested. A declaration alone is not verification. DropFolks may request clarification, reject an application, or pause access while information is incomplete, disputed or expired. Approval does not replace a business licence, insurance or other obligations applicable to your business. Notify us when ownership, contact details or pickup arrangements change; accounts cannot simply be transferred to another owner.
2. Store operations. You are responsible for having the authority, licences and permissions needed to sell your products and operate your premises. After approval, maintain accurate product descriptions, pack sizes, prices, barcodes, availability and photographs you have permission to use. Product submissions may require separate review before publication. Do not list alcohol, tobacco, controlled substances, counterfeit goods or other prohibited or restricted products. Approval of a listing is not a guarantee that it complies with every rule applicable to you.
3. Orders and picking. Review each order, confirm availability, pick the correct product and quantity and package it safely. A matching barcode supports identification but does not replace checking the pack, expiry and condition. Tell the customer about unavailable items through the provided process; do not make unapproved substitutions or additional charges. Mark an order ready only when it is packed for collection. Check the order identifier at handover and provide accurate collection instructions.
4. Staff access. Owners may create individual staff accounts for their own store. Provide staff information only with the necessary authority and notice. Share the generated temporary password privately; staff must replace it and accept their own terms. Never share the owner account. Staff permissions are limited to assigned store work. Review access regularly and revoke it when no longer needed. You remain responsible for supervising your staff and protecting customer information they can access.
5. Customer information and returns. Use customer and order information only to fulfil the order, provide authorised support or meet legal obligations. Do not copy it into marketing lists. Report loss or misuse promptly. Report missing, damaged or returned goods through support. A return does not automatically make goods suitable for resale; inspect condition and any temperature or food-safety requirements before restocking. Do not assume that reporting a return automatically changes stock or payment records.
6. Commercial activation. Registration and approval alone do not establish a commission, subscription price, payout schedule, delivery guarantee or commercial payment arrangement. Any applicable commercial fees, taxes, payout and cancellation arrangements must be disclosed and agreed before live transactions begin. Simulated transactions have no cash value. Do not dispatch real goods on the basis of a simulated payment.
7. Ending participation. Contact info@dropfolks.ca to withdraw or close the store account. Cooperate on outstanding orders, disputes and lawful recordkeeping. DropFolks may suspend or end access for material breach, safety or security concerns, unlawful goods or unreliable verification, subject to applicable law. Website Terms and the Store Partner Privacy Notice explain the related service rules and information handling.
